Located at an altitude of approximately 3000m, the Kheer Ganga is a 5-6 hour trek from Kalga situated in the Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh. The first half is a gentle climb filled with apple orchards and colourful cafes amidst striking picturesque mountain ranges on all sides. A serene waterfall marks the halfway of the trek and the trekking trail becomes a little difficult after the waterfall; a continuous climb begins which can be testing for first-time trekkers. Once you arrive there is a cluster of huts and cafés near the Kheerganga temple and natural hot water spring which can be covered on a 10-minute walk. This is a surreal experience and will leave with vivid memories to cherish for the rest of your life.
